This tour is for all adventurers who in addition to exploration of incredible flora and fauna of the national parks wish to see some of the world’s venomous snakes and experience hunting in the wilderness with the real Bushmen.
Depart Arusha in the morning for the Snake Park, where you can observe some of the world’s venomous snakes (Green and Black Mamba, Puff Adder, Gaboon Viper etc.) and other reptiles including Lizards, Chameleons and Nile Crocodiles from a safe distance; Maasai outside the park can also arrange for Camel rides. After lunch a drive to Tarangire National Park for the afternoon game drive, where large families of Elephants can be seen all year round. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
A whole day game drive in Tarangire National Park. During the dry seasons it is the second only to the Serengeti ecosystem for its density of wildlife;Migration of Zebras and Wildebeests thousands of animals including Wildebeests, Zebras, Elands, Elephants, Buffalos, Hartebeests and rare Oryx migrate from Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River looking for water with Lions, Leopards and other predators following them. Picnic lunch in the park. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp.
After breakfast depart to the lush Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the footsteps of the Great Rift Valley, for a game drive. This little park is a home to a wide range of different animals including Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Hippos and more than 400 species of birds, but its most famous feature are the unusual tree-climbing Lions, who can be seen resting on Acacia branches six to seven meters above the ground. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp.
n the morning a drive to Tanzania’s largest soda lake, Lake Eyasi. After lunch sightseeing around Lake Eyasi, where large flocks of Pink Flamingos can be observed. Overnight: Tented Camp/Camp (there are no Lodge facilities!)
After early breakfast, transfer to where Hadzabe tribe or »the Real Bushmen« reside and where you will join them on their morning hunt for food! You will find out first hand how to survive in the wilderness and get to know their unique culture and way of living, which has not changed for thousands of years! In the afternoon a drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp.
After breakfast head off straight to the world’s most famous park, Serengeti National Park, with the size equivalent to Ireland, a home to four million different animals and also the place, where the amazing yearly Great Migration occurs. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp.
The whole day is spent searching for Lions, Spotted Hyenas, Leopards, Cheetahs, Servals, Caracals, Giraffes, Buffalos, Topi, Hartebeests, Waterbucks, Impalas, Reedbucks, Bushbucks, Kirk’s Dik-diks, Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, Warthogs and diverse birdlife. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp
Sunrise game drive around the endless plains of the Serengeti, named by Maasai. Later drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight with an optional stop at the cradle of mankind, ‘Olduvai Gorge’. It is also home to the colourful Maasai tribe, who still live the same way as they have for centuries. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp.
After breakfast descend into the eight wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater; abundant with wildlife and where you will have a chance to search for the Big Five. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon return to Arusha town.
